Baptism in the River

If you declare with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.  For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.  As Scripture says, "Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame."  For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile-the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."
Romans 10:9-13

Our sweet Hannah girl has called on the name of the Lord our God and has been saved.  Praise our Father in heaven!!  So the next step was baptism.

Or don't you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?  We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.  For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly also be united with him in a resurrection like his.
Romans 6:3-5
 (I could really post this whole chapter but I'll leave it at those three scriptures...)

So we went to the river behind my parents house.  My Mom & Dad joined us.  Bobby and Hannah got into the freezing cold water.  Bobby prayed and then baptized our baby girl.  It was so beautiful and sweet.
I wish there were better pictures to share.  I only took a few pics and a video because I wanted to really see what was happening rather than worrying about angles & photos.

{ Salvation experience March 30th, 2012 -- Baptism July 27th, 2013 }

I don't have pictures of the actual baptism because I did a video instead. I've attempted to load it but I think it's too long so I may edit it a little and attempt to post it again.  Keep checking back.
