They read one of Pete's books (Four Groovy Buttons) and then you could go to different areas for different crafts. We walked through strawberries, blueberries and mud like Pete does in 'I Love My White Shoes.' Then we played pin the shoe on Pete. After that Amos & Shiloh got to sit in Pete's lap and have their picture made. We finished with a Groovy button snack (graham cracker + yellow icing + M&M's) and a Pete mask.
I'm pretty sure our sweet librarians can't do anything else that will top this party - at least in Amos' opinion!
